Extensions are bad for natural lashes!
The most common myth I hear about eyelash extensions. If done properly, eyelash extensions will not do harm to the natural lash, and here is why:
eyelash extensions are applied only on the grown up lashes that are in the middle of the lash cycle or already coming to the end of the cycle;
eyelash extensions when applied properly never create a tension on the lash follicle, which means that it would not harm the lashes;
eyelash extensions are applied on a single natural lash and never glued together with any other baby lashes, in this way the growth cycle is never interrupted;
eyelash extensions are applied approximately 1mm from the skin, so eyelash extensions would never bother and poke your eyelid;
the base of the eyelash extensions are applied to the base of the natural lash, in this way when you are brushing the lashes, extensions will not get pulled and not harm your natural lashes;
These are just couple examples of why you should not be scared to get the eyelash extensions. However, if any of the above is neglected by your eyelash technician, you probably want to consider switching to another person.
